Our Baby Room

A Home from Home

Our baby room is designed for babies aged 3-12months. The ratio in this room is 1:3 and we can cater for six babies at any one time with two experienced and highly qualified staff members. We have designed our baby room to create a warm home from home atmosphere where all the needs of each baby can be catered for.

Sweet Dreams

Sleep is especially important for all children as it directly impacts mental and physical development. We have a separate sleep room adjacent to our Wobbler room which allows our babies to rest peacefully throughout the day. Our sleep room is fully ventilated which keeps the temperature at the recommended 16 - 20°C as per the TUSLA regulations.

Settling In

We offer a two-week phase in period in our baby room which is free of charge. This can be anything from 30mins to 2hrs per day and it is to ensure that your baby is completely settled with us and that you feel secure and confident leaving your child in our care.

Cuddles

We will introduce many different activities in the baby room but what is very important to us that the babies receive lots and lots of snuggle time which is so essential at this very young age, in our opinion nothing beats a good cuddle. The babies will be observed regularly and encouraged by staff to reach their developmental milestones. Our dedicated baby room staffs gently encourage each baby to develop and learn at their own pace.
