Learning and Play
Our toddler room is a bright, airy room that is specifically set up and equipped for children aged 2-3 years with all the foundation phase areas of learning such as, creative play, role play, construction, dress up and rest area. The ratio in this room is 1:6 and we can cater for up to 18 toddlers at any one time with three experienced and highly qualified practitioners.
Settling In
We offer a two week phase in period in our Toddler room which is free of charge. This can be anything from 30mins to 2hrs per day and it is to ensure that your child is completely settled with us and that you feel secure and confident leaving your them in our care.
Sweet dreams
Sleep is especially important for all children as it directly impacts mental and physical development. At sleep time our Toddlers sleep on mini beds that are designed for children attending the créche. We pull down the blackout blinds, turn on our soft, relaxing music and create a calm environment for our toddlers to sleep peacefully.
A Fun Packed Day
In our Toddler room our curriculum plan is subject to change on a daily basis as we follow the children's direction and let them take the lead and guide us as practitioners through their emerging interests. Each day your child will enjoy circle time where they will join together as a group and learn the days of the week, numbers, colours, shapes and much more. All children learn and develop at their own pace as the practitioners ensure that each day is as fun as the last with a wide range of activities i.e. sand play, arts'n'crafts, soil play and lots more. Each child is able to explore and learn in a fun filled safe environment.
