Our Wobbler Room
A Nurturing Environment
Our Wobbler room is designed for children aged 1-2yrs. The ratio in this room is 1:5 and we can cater for ten wobblers at any one time with two experienced and highly qualified staff members. Our colourful wobbler room is bright, warm and friendly, with the same nurturing environment of our baby room.
Sweet Dreams
Sleep is especially important for all children as it directly impacts mental and physical development. We have a separate sleep room adjacent to our Wobbler room which allows our babies to rest peacefully throughout the day. Our sleep room is fully ventilated which keeps the temperature at the recommended 16 - 20°C as per the TUSLA regulations.
Settling In
We offer a two week phase in period in our wobbler room which is free of charge. This can be anything from 30mins to 2hrs per day and it is to ensure that your child is completely settled with us and that you feel secure and confident leaving your them in our care.
A Structured Routine
At this stage the children’s routine becomes a little more structured as we start to encourage them through their key physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social milestones. We have a set curriculum plan in our Wobbler that can change daily as we incorporate the children's emerging interests to encourage a child led approach to play.
